INTELLIGENCE / FIELD GUIDE 03
Claude · Coding agents · GitHub

Choose the tools.
Skip the hype.

A practical guide to the repositories in your blueprint—what they do, where they fit, and what to check before adoption.

Ten original entries, corrected and expanded to eleven to resolve a mismatched name and repository link.

The important correction: Onyx ≠ Taste Skill.

The image labels a knowledge platform “Onyx” but links to senlindesign/taste-skill, a design-analysis skill. Both appear below with their correct identities and links.

Pick by the job you need done.

These are optional tools, not requirements for using Claude. A GitHub repository is a distribution location—not a guarantee of compatibility, safety or quality. “Trending” was not established by a dated ranking, so it is not used here.

11 repositories

01
Engineering / MCP tools / CLI

REA

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
morluto/rea

Investigate software behavior

Connects agents to inspection tools for binaries, JavaScript/Electron apps, .NET assemblies and websites. Analysis findings include evidence and limitations.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Use for a specific investigation of software you are authorized to inspect. Target support and native-analysis providers affect setup.

“Anything” is a project slogan, not a promise of universal analysis or perfect reconstruction.

Illustrative use. Identify how an approved legacy application implements one feature; ask for evidence and unresolved questions.

02
Engineering / Agent guidance / plugin

Ponytail

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
DietrichGebert/ponytail

Reduce unnecessary implementation

Guides coding agents toward simpler solutions and less unnecessary code. It is a workflow aid, not a replacement for an accountable senior developer.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Useful when an agent overbuilds or adds needless abstractions. Check installation instructions for your specific host.

The shortest implementation still has to meet correctness, security and maintenance requirements.

Illustrative use. Ask for the smallest change that meets the acceptance criteria, with explicit trade-offs.

03
Design / Design skill

Hallmark

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
Nutlope/hallmark

Develop a more deliberate visual direction

Provides design guidance for building, auditing, redesigning and studying interfaces, with a focus on avoiding repetitive generated layouts.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Try for a new landing page or a substantial redesign. Its README names Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.

Distinctive styling does not establish usability, accessibility or brand fit. Validate the finished interface.

Illustrative use. Create a property-project page from approved brand assets and content; test the mobile enquiry flow.

04
Writing / Editing skill

Humanizer

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
blader/humanizer

Edit formulaic prose

Helps revise repetitive or inflated AI-sounding writing into clearer prose while aiming to preserve meaning.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Useful for editing a completed draft. Review facts, quotations and intended tone after rewriting.

It does not make content factual, prove human authorship or guarantee any detector outcome.

Illustrative use. Edit an investor introduction for specificity and plain language while retaining every factual claim.

05
Knowledge / Self-hostable application

Onyx

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
onyx-dot-app/onyx

Search and chat with organizational knowledge

An AI platform with chat and knowledge connections. It is a deployed application, not simply a skill you add to a coding assistant.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Assess hosting, model configuration, connectors, access controls and ongoing operations before adopting it.

The blueprint links to the wrong project. Use onyx-dot-app/onyx; self-hosting alone does not prove that all data stays local.

Illustrative use. Pilot with a small approved document collection and test whether users see only the material they may access.

06
Design / Design guidance / tooling

Impeccable

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
pbakaus/impeccable

Audit and refine an interface

Provides design guidance and commands for critique, auditing and refinement, including browser-oriented iteration.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Useful for improving an existing UI. Follow the current setup instructions for the selected coding tool.

A design audit still needs real keyboard, responsive and user-flow checks. Command availability can change.

Illustrative use. Audit a sales planner for hierarchy, field clarity and mobile usability, then fix the highest-impact issues.

07
Design / Design skill / CLI

UI/UX Pro Max

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill

Build a consistent design direction

Provides design intelligence and supporting resources for UI/UX work across platforms, with installation paths for supported assistants.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Use to guide a design system or a new interface. Check the current host support and runtime requirements.

Style guidance is not a substitute for user research or testing. Avoid conflicting instructions from several design skills.

Illustrative use. Specify a mobile-first dashboard with consistent typography, spacing, form states and accessible contrast.

08
Research / Research skill

Last 30 Days

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
mvanhorn/last30days-skill

Investigate recent discussion

Researches topics across supported discussion and web sources, then synthesizes findings. Source coverage depends on the current configuration and available access.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Useful for discovering recent themes. Check required services, API credentials and usage charges in the README.

Online discussion is not a representative market sample or verified sales evidence. Recency alone does not establish accuracy.

Illustrative use. Find recent objections in a market, then validate them against customer interviews and CRM records.

09
Research / Python framework / integrations

Scrapling

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
D4Vinci/Scrapling

Collect structured web content

A web-scraping framework with extraction and crawling capabilities; the project also supplies agent-oriented integration resources.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Use when structured collection is needed. Expect runtime setup and site-specific extraction validation.

Extraction can fail when pages change. Respect access restrictions, permitted use and data minimization.

Illustrative use. Collect permitted public listing fields, preserve source URLs and timestamps, and check a sample against the pages.

10
Design / Diagram skill

Diagram Design

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
cathrynlavery/diagram-design

Explain structures and processes visually

Guides editorial diagram creation and produces self-contained HTML and SVG outputs for supported coding assistants.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Useful for architecture, process and explanatory diagrams. Choose a representation that matches the information.

Interactivity is not necessary for every diagram. Visual polish does not validate the underlying relationships.

Illustrative use. Explain the lead-to-sale process with explicit stages, decision points and ownership.

11
Design / Design-analysis skill

Taste Skill

IDENTITY & README CHECKED
senlindesign/taste-skill

Study an existing visual language

Analyzes a website’s design choices, including concrete tokens and the reasoning behind visual trade-offs. This is the repository actually linked under “Onyx” in the image.

Repository & current setup ↗
Fit, setup & practical example

When it fits. Use when studying an approved reference. Review the host and browser setup described by the project.

Design analysis does not grant rights to copy assets or branding; translate the principles into an original implementation.

Illustrative use. Study a reference’s spacing and hierarchy, then apply suitable principles to an original ImageFirm design.

Compatibility matters

Same list. Different kinds of software.

TypeExamplesWhat adoption involves
Skills / guidanceHallmark, Humanizer, Taste Skill, Diagram DesignA supported host, the correct packaging, trusted instructions and any required resources.
Skills with toolingImpeccable, UI/UX Pro Max, Last 30 DaysReview runtime dependencies, host integration and external-service access where used.
Developer toolingREA, ScraplingLocal or managed execution, dependencies, scoped access and output verification.
Application platformOnyxDeployment, identity, connectors, model configuration and continuing operations.

Ponytail is coding-agent guidance distributed through supported integrations. Categories describe the main adoption pattern and can overlap. Claude chat, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other agent hosts have different capabilities; a GitHub link alone does not make a project installable in every host.

ImageFirm editorial starting points

Start with one clear need.

Evaluate Hallmark or UI/UX Pro Max

Choose one main source of design guidance. Add Diagram Design only when explanatory diagrams serve the content.

Pilot on one page and compare mobile usability, accessibility, brand fit and edit effort.

Blueprint audit

What changed in this edition.

Identity corrected

Onyx now points to onyx-dot-app/onyx. Taste Skill retains the original card’s actual link as its own entry. REA is linked to the verified owner, morluto/rea.

Claims made proportionate

“Must-have,” “trending,” “your senior developer,” and guaranteed human-quality outputs were replaced with concrete purposes and limitations.

Adoption made practical

The directory distinguishes skills, tooling and a full application, so setup effort and host requirements are visible.

Selection over accumulation

Overlapping design tools are candidates to compare. Loading them all together can create conflicting rules and extra maintenance.

A short adoption checklist.

Review one candidate in a small pilot. Selections last for this page session; they do not certify a repository.

0 of 10 reviewed

Primary sources.

The linked project pages and READMEs are the source for repository identity and stated purpose. Their descriptions are not independently verified performance claims. This review does not assert GitHub Trending placement, current star counts, complete license compatibility or universal host support. Recheck live documentation before installation.
